The paper investigates the links between political campaigning and post-truth. research argues that there are five main factors make a successful post-truth campaign. first is marinating goal of achieving practical outcome. second success to control public agenda. third providing different definition truth. fourth factor use claims based on emotional beliefs. And fifth trigger response from opposing party. Based this theoretical approach, examines information published in Israeli election campaign April 2019 by leading Likud party its leader, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, against their rivals – Blue White Benny Gantz - former Israel Defense Forces (IDF) Chief Staff. issue examined involving cell phone hacking Gantz. examination looks at according campaign, as described earlier.
